Getting started
From sign-in to your first Rebuild Package.
Mateo gives your AI a website it can actually rebuild. Paste a URL. Mateo captures how the site is built and how it behaves, then packages it for your coding agent.
Your first capture
- Sign in with Google. It's the only sign-in method, so there's no separate password to manage.
- Paste a public URL into the capture bar (for example
mateoux.io). - Press Capture. Mateo opens the page in a real browser and shows each stage as it runs. Keep the tab open until the capture finishes. See How a capture works.
- Wait for the Rebuild Package. Mateo prepares it automatically after the capture. It shows Preparing… until it's ready.
- Export. The Export menu gives you the Rebuild Package (a zip),
DESIGN.md, and Copy agent prompt.
Every capture is saved to Captures automatically.
What you get
- The Rebuild Package. A zip with the build specification (
REBUILD.md), every measured value, screenshots, the site's original assets,DESIGN.md, and the agent prompt. See The Rebuild Package. - DESIGN.md. The site's design language on its own: colors, typography, spacing, components, motion and responsive rules. See DESIGN.md.
- The agent prompt. A ready-to-paste prompt for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or another coding agent. See Using it with your coding agent.
Use the Rebuild Package only for sites you own or have permission to reproduce. To borrow the look of a site you don't own, use DESIGN.md.
